# Headings

This guide describes the Theme settings > Headings menu options. The heading theme settings define the styles applied to headings (titles) throughout your store.

In the following video, a heading is displayed, inside an Image with text overlay section, on a store’s homepage. To apply a shadow style to the heading, in Theme settings > Headings, the Style dropdown option is changed from None (off) to Full shadow.

For general guidance with adjusting a theme setting, refer to Settings overview and Shopify help: Theme settings (opens new window).
