Social media

This guide describes the Theme settings > Social media menu options.

Use the menu options to integrate social media into your store. Refer to Shopify help: Social media

In the previous image, in the lower left, social media icons are displayed in the footer area of a store's homepage. Store visitors select the icons to visit your store's social media. Cascade also displays a social media share list on specific store pages, like blog post articles and product pages. Store visitors use this list to share links to your store's pages on social media. In the previous image, in the upper left, to specify social media to display in the share list, in Theme settings > Social media > Sharing options, checkboxes are enabled to Share on Facebook, Tweet on Twitter, and Pin on Pinterest.

Set up your store's social media

To set up your store's social media:

  1. Go to Theme settings > Social media.

  2. Select a setting described in the following table.

Sharing options > Share on FacebookSelect the checkbox Share on Facebook to show/hide Facebook in the Share list.
Sharing options > Tweet on TwitterSelect the checkbox Tweet on Twitter to show/hide Twitter in the Share list.
Sharing options > Pin on PinterestSelect the checkbox Pin on Pinterest to show/hide Pinterest in the Share list.
Accounts > Text boxesIn the text boxes, enter URLs for your store's social media. Enter links for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Tumblr, Youtube, Vimeo, and LinkedIn. When you enter social media URLs, the theme displays corresponding social media links throughout your store.
