Welcome to the Shapes user documentation.

Upgrading from Shapes version 4 to version 5

If you upgrade from Shapes version 4 to version 5, your existing settings' data are not transferred for Age check, Call to action sticker, Breadcrumbs, and Custom liquid.

We apologize for any inconvenience you encounter during the upgrade process. We reluctantly accepted these minor breaking changes to implement new up-selling features.

This documentation applies to Shapes theme version 5 including the Shapes presets Aura, Candy, Fizz, and Scratch. For other versions of Shapes, refer to our:

While we update our documentation, please be advised that our documentation may not reference newly available options for Shapes v5 theme templates, settings, sections, and blocks.

Install Shapes ​

To install Shapes, complete the following steps.

  1. On your store's Shopify admin page, select Sales channels > Online store.

  2. In the Discover themes area, select Visit Theme store to open the Shopify Theme store.

  3. In the Search field, enter Shapes as the search term, and then select Shapes from the search results.

  4. On the Shapes theme details page, select Try theme.

  5. After Shopify adds Shapes, confirm that Shapes is listed in the Draft themes area of your store's Shopify admin. Refresh the page, if necessary.

  6. In the Draft themes area listing for Shapes, select an option described in the following table.

    Note

    * Indicates an option that's available only after you purchase Shapes.

    ... refers to the ellipsis icon (three consecutive dots).
