Show quick buy on product tiles

This guide describes how to:

1. Enable the quick buy option to display an Add to cart button on product tiles. The button allows a store visitor to add items to their cart quickly.
2. Specify a button or dropdown style for the variant picker block's option selector.

The previous video demonstrates adding the quick buy option to a section.

Enable quick buy

To enable quick buy:

1. In the Theme editor, at the top of the page, use the dropdown to select a template with a section or block that includes the quick buy option. For example, select Home page.

   Note

   You can enable the quick buy option for the following sections and blocks:

   • Collection focus carousel
   • Featured collection
   • Featured collections
   • Featured product variants
   • Featured product > Complementary products block
   • Mixed shape product grid
   • Recently viewed products
   • Article recipe page > Featured products block
   • Collection list
   • Product grid (collection)
   • Product > Complementary products block
   • Related products

2. From the side menu, select the section. For example, on the home page, select Featured collection.

3. In the section menu, turn on the Enable quick buy option.

   

Variant picker buttons and dropdowns

For a product with two variants, Shapes theme displays the variant picker as buttons by default.

For example, in the following image, a button is displayed for each of the two product variants: Single and Pack of 8.

If there are more than two variants, by default, the variant picker displays as a dropdown.

For example, the product in the following image has more than two color variants, so a Color dropdown is displayed.

If you prefer to set a specific style for the variant picker's option selector, the Variant picker block includes an Options style setting. Use this setting to specify a button or dropdown style for the variant picker's option selector.
