Featured collections ​
This guide describes how to set up the Featured collections section.
Use the section to display specific collections on a store page.

The previous image shows the home page of an example store. In the upper left, part of the Theme editor's Featured collections section menu is displayed. The menu's Show 'View all' link option is enabled. With this option enabled, a View all link to the corresponding collection page is displayed in the section. For example, in the previous image, the View all link to the Gold collars collection page is displayed in the bottom left.

Configure the Featured collections section ​
To configure your Featured collections section:
In the Theme editor, use the theme templates dropdown at the top of the page to select a page that contains a Featured collections section.
Note
The section can be added to any page except Gift card and Customer pages. To add the section to the current page, select Add section > Featured collections. Refer to Shopify help: Add a section.
From the side menu, select Featured collections.
Select a setting described in the following table.

| Show 'View all' link | Use the Show 'View all' link option to show or hide a link to each corresponding collection page in the section. |
| Enable quick buy | Use the Enable quick buy option to show or hide an Add to cart button on the product tiles in the section. For products with variants, a variant selector is displayed as a Choose options button. Refer to Show quick buy on product tiles. |
| Display on card | Use the Display on card option to show or hide a card behind product tiles in the section. Refer to Shopify help: Cards. |
| Header > Collection links style | Use the Collection links style options to display collection links in the section's header area as Headings or Buttons. |
| Header > Heading size | Use the Heading size options to apply a Standard, Secondary, or Feature heading size to headings-style collection links in the section's header area. To use this option, set the Collection links style option to Headings. |
| Header > Heading | Enter text in the Heading field to display as a heading above buttons-style collection links in the section's header area. Format the text and add links using the inline editor. To use this option, set the Collection links style option to Buttons. |
| Header > Subheading | Enter text in the Subheading field to display as a subheading above buttons-style collection links in the section's header area. Format the text and add links using the inline editor. To use this option, enter text in the Heading field and set the Collection links style option to Buttons. |
| Layout > Style | Use the Style options to apply a Grid or Carousel layout for displaying product tiles in the section. |
| Layout > Number of products | Adjust the Number of products slider to specify the total number of products to display in the section. When the Style option is set to Grid, adjust the slider between 1 and 18. When the Style option is set to Carousel, adjust the slider between 4 and 18. |
| Layout > Products per row on mobile | Use the Products per row on mobile options to display 1 or 2 products in each row of the section's grid on mobile display devices. To use this option, set the Style option to Grid. |
| Layout > Products per row on desktop | Adjust the Products per row on desktop slider between 2 and 5 to specify the number of products from a collection to display inside each row of the section's grid on desktop display devices. To use this option, set the Style option to Grid. |
| Layout > Slideshow focus | Use the Slideshow focus options to set the carousel's focus to the Center or Left slide. To use this option, set the Style option to Carousel. |
| Layout > Mobile slide width | Use the Mobile slide width option to select 3/5 or Full. Use this option to specify a width for the section's carousel on mobile display devices, when the Style option is set to Carousel. |
| Layout > Desktop slide width | Adjust the Desktop slide width slider between 20 and 60 percent. Use this option to specify a width for the section's carousel on desktop display devices, when the Style option is set to Carousel. |
| Layout > Autoscroll mode | Use the Autoscroll mode options to set the section's carousel to move from Right to left or Left to right automatically. To turn off automatic scrolling mode, select Disabled. To use this option, set the Style option to Carousel. |
| Product grid > Shape | Use the Shape options to select a shape to apply to media items in the section's product grid tiles. Options include Same as theme settings, Default, Ellipse, Pill, Archway, and more. Note that selecting some shapes will crop the media items. |
| Product grid > Image aspect ratio | Use the Image aspect ratio options to select Same as theme settings, Natural, Landscape, Square, or Portrait. Use this option to specify the width-to-height ratio for media items in the section's product grid tiles. To use this option, set the Shape option to Default, Ellipse, Pill, or Archway (the Fit to image shapes). |
| Color > Color scheme | Use the Color scheme picker to select a color scheme for the section. Refer to Colors. |
| Color > Use gradient for background | Set the Use gradient for background option to on or off. Use this option to turn on or off using a gradient as the section's background. |
| Theme settings | If available, select Theme settings to access additional settings for the section. Refer to Section theme settings menu. |
| Custom CSS | Select Custom CSS. In the CSS field, enter custom CSS styles to apply only to the current section. Refer to Shopify help: Add custom CSS. To apply custom styles to your entire online store, refer to Theme settings > Custom CSS. |
| Remove section | Select Remove section to delete the section from the current page. |
Note
To connect a metafield to a setting that supports metafields, select the Connect dynamic source icon displayed beside the setting in the Theme editor.

Configure a block in a Featured collections section ​
To configure a block in your Featured collections section:
In the Theme editor, use the theme templates dropdown at the top of the page to select a page that contains a Featured collections section.
From the side menu, expand the Featured collections section menu.
To configure an existing block, select the block from the side menu.
To add a new block, select Add block, choose a block to add, and then select the block you added.

In the section, you can add, remove, show, hide, and move blocks. Refer to Configure blocks inside a section and Shopify help: Sections and blocks.
Apply a block setting described in the following table.
