Search results ​

This guide describes setting up the Search results section on your store's search page. Use the section to set how search results are displayed on your store's search page.

The following video shows a search results section on a store's search page. In the video, the Text align setting is adjusted to realign text inside the section from the Center to the Left side of the page.

Set up a search results section ​

To set up a search results section:

1. Go to Customize theme. At the top of the page, use the dropdown to select Others > Search.

   Note

   The section is available only on search pages.

   To add Content sections into the current page, select Add section, from the side menu, and then choose a section to add. Refer to Shopify help: Add a section.

2. From the side menu, select Search results.

   

3. Expand the Theme settings menu, and then select a setting to adjust. Refer to Section theme settings menu.

   Note

   To access to some of the settings, you must enter a search term into the search box on your store's search page, select ENTER, and then open Search results > Theme settings.
