Social media
This guide describes the Theme settings > Social media menu options.
Use the menu options to integrate social media into your store. Refer to Shopify help: Social media.
The previous image shows a store's (blog post) Article page. In the upper left, part of Theme editor's Theme settings > Social media menu is displayed. To use icons for displaying links to the store's social media, the menu's Social media display style option is set to Icons. In the lower right, in the store's footer area, this menu option displays icons with links to the store's social media.

Set up Social media
To set up Social media:
In Theme editor, go to Theme settings > Social media.
Select a setting described in the following table.

| Sharing options > Display | Select the Display radio buttons to show links in the Share list as Text or Icons. The share list is displayed on specific store pages, like blog post articles and product pages. Store visitors use the list to share links to your store's pages on social media. |
| Sharing options > Share on Facebook | Use the Share on Facebook checkbox to show/hide Facebook in the Share list. The Share list displays on specific areas of your store. For example, on a blog post (article) page, visitors use the list to share links on their social media to your store's articles. |
| Sharing options > Tweet on Twitter | Use the Tweet on Twitter checkbox to show/hide Twitter in the Share list. The Share list displays on specific areas of your store. For example, on a blog post (article) page, visitors use the list to share links on their social media to your store's articles. |
| Sharing options > Pin on Pinterest | Use the Pin on Pinterest checkbox to show/hide Pinterest in the Share list. The Share list displays on specific areas of your store. For example, on a blog post (article) page, visitors use the list to share links on their social media to your store's articles. |
| Accounts > Social media display style | Select the Social media display style radio buttons to show your store's social media links as Text or Icons. Links to your store's social media can be displayed on store pages and inside sections, like in the store's header and footer. |
| Accounts > Text boxes | In the individual social media platform text boxes, enter URLs for your store's social media. Enter links for Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Tumblr, Youtube, LinkedIn, Messenger, Threads, WhatsApp, Twitch, Discord. When you enter social media URLs, the theme displays corresponding social media links throughout your store. |
